What is OPENREACH?
The creation of Openreach by the BT group is the result of Undertakings with Ofcom (the Regulator).
The remit is to ensure that the entire UK telecommunications Industry, has fair and equal access to the local access and
backhaul networks.

• No BT Group element to Openreach incentive plan
• Headquarters team located in separate accommodation
• Introduction of separate operational support systems
• Strict Code of Practice to be followed by all employees
• Strict rules about sharing information in an equivalent way with All Communications Providers
• Own Identity ( the Openreach Wordmark)
